=====================================
on April 30, 2008 I got a Fed Ex letter from Sprint saying I was terminated effective immediately for not meeting quota.
Last year I averaged 60+ units per month and then the economy faultered and my average this year has been 33 per month. My contract states I must do 50+ new activations per month. I have also renewed over 600 units with longtime customers this year who were leaving Sprint, but stayed because of me! I was always told by Sprint that if they cancel a dealer, we could sign with a Master Dealer and just loose the residuals, so that's he first person I contacted. They all explained to me that Sprint wanted my door closed (after 8 years - 6 as a Nextel dealer & 2 with Sprint and always an exclusive) and would not approve me. I was crushed and very disappointed.
I have just now closed my store and moving forward, but still very angry! Now I find out they were selective in who got shut down! They did not close small dealers in outlying areas who only do 10 or so units per month, saying they didn't have a Sprint owned store in those areas, so they left them open. This is not fair! Any ideas of a way I can sue them?
